FACT: Ink Cartridge MIS-Information

The author of this guide has over 25 years of experience in the printer supply "industry."

I don't wish to attack the author. Nor do I wish to belittle him/her. But as a Professional Printer Repair Technician I must speak out and say that this "guide" is void of any useful much less accurate information. Further the terminology is techno-nonsense. As if familiar words were thrown together in some Yahtzee-like game hoping to fool one's opponents and score a point.

Ink cartridges do not work "by firing ink onto the paper out of tiny pins". The "chips" that "run" (??) the ink cartridge HUNH? Do you mean the PrintHead? Compatible ink tanks are very reliable and perform well.NOT! Compatible ink tanks MAY perform well, BUT they also DAMAGE the PRINTHEAD and cause PREMATURE death to the heart of the ink delivery system.

BTW: re: inkjet VS laser...... Inkjet is far and away the MOST expensive method of producing a printed page. Lasers are far more economical on a cost-per-page basis.

I won't go on but to say I hope you do some research before you write any more guides which someone without subject specific knowledge might adopt as Truth.
