Share theories and ideas for unlocking the plot secrets of ABC's T.V. series LOST.
On September 22, 2004 lots of folks were wrapped up in the US presidential elections. Some ads had started running on ABC about a new series called "Lost" that followed the lives of some folks marooned on an island, but all anyone had really noticed was that "that hobbit guy" was in it. But after the first episode, it seemed the whole world was immediately hooked and the drama on the presidential stage seemed like just two guys throwing darts at each other. The show was all about the intertwining of lives thrown together in the midst of a plane crash that marooned several survivors on a tropical island.
The twists of plot were interesting enough (credit goes out to the writers), but it was the flawless execution of great acting that made the sometimes outlandish plot believable. It was about the people and the relationships, not just plot games and special effects.
