Contents

What Is RSS

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML data format for content syndication and distribution. Overstock.com Guides provides a growing list of RSS feeds to subscribe to by news reader, and for use in blogs.

What Is The Value of RSS

For users, RSS offers a way to select and pool hundreds of headlines from infinite sources into a concise index of content. Simply setup an RSS reader, add new RSS feeds, and schedule the desired frequency you wish to refresh information. This data is parsed into easily viewable web pages.

RSS Readers

Hundreds of RSS Readers are available for any operating system or device type. You can download and install a client application such as Mozilla Thunderbird or you can use a web-based application such as Image:google_reader.gif Google Reader.
